School Wellness Policy

Child Nutrition Program Information

Collection of Race and Ethnicity data for school meal programs

Some documents utilized by the Child Nutrition Program are required to request race and ethnicity data. The purpose of collecting race and ethnicity data is to determine how effectively the School Meal Programs are reaching potentially eligible students. Providing this data is voluntary. Responses are kept confidential and have no effect on eligibility.
